Heather Yanazaki
Heather started learning about computers when she was a senior in high school – studying HTML, Active Server Pages, database programming, computer hardware, operating systems installation and troubleshooting. That year, she put her newly acquired knowledge to work and entered HiTech Quest. She won first place in the application development category.
Heather is presently a sophomore at the University of Hawaii at Manoa where she’s a Regent’s Scholar. She’s pursuing a double major in Information & Computer Science and Business. She also works at the UH Housing office where she sometimes serves as a database systems operator. Heather just returned from an interview in Minnesota with IBM for its highly competitive internship program.
