USING TECHNOLOGY TO COMMUNICATE - DIGITAL VIDEO
Competition Date: Friday, March 11, 2005
Location: Ala Moana Hotel
Event: The Asia-Pacific Cyber Games

Design, develop, publish, and present a digital video that demonstrates and communicates topical information to a specific audience using appropriate technology resources.

This category is open to students in grades 7-12. Videos must be limited to a maximum length of five minutes and must be exported to a Quicktime, Real-Player, or Windows Media Player format for video streaming.

As a means of demonstrating that your video is communicating to a wide audience, 10% of your project's score will be based on the number of "popular votes" your video receives. From Wednesday, March 2, 2005, through Tuesday, March 8, 2005, have your friends and family go to the HiTech Quest web site to vote for your project. The more "votes" you generate, the more points (maximum 10 points) your project will receive.

HiTech Quest will award three prizes: A first place $1000 prize, a second place $500 prize, and a third place $250 prize.
